Who said quality journalism was dead? Thought this was rather cheeky. NME splashes ‘first UK interview in years’ over front cover only to serve up rather old interview from davidbowie.com website. Talk about destination disappointment, but then again I’m sure this will not bother the majority of Arctic Monkeys or Peter Doherty acolytes that currently subscribe to the mag.

Instead of closing with the usual B.S., Brother Steven, why not point out that while NME gets ultimate FAIL for faking a bowie interview, they do have a KILLER online photo exposee with 26 random bowie facts labeled Bowie:A-Z? They suckered you into the mag from the newstands, but they suckered me after reading that excellent photo/note exposee online. As a fellow Bowie fan I’m thankful for you for screening it for me and I refer you to the collection in turn, but as a Pete fan I must say…
