  • Avoiding Sex and The City 2
  • Trying to get my wife a paperback version of Twilight: Eclipse (anyone???)
  • Watching the final Big Brother. I swear they will throw Davina in!
  • Getting Michael Jackson’s This Is It on DVD

Just checked Google this morning after posting my story about the Sugababes the previous night. Hey Presto, I found myself almost at the top of the search rankings for that particular topic.

Checking the Windows Live statistics I found that a large chunk of traffic had come from Google search, even though I was helped by the link the MSN homepage team gave me in ‘Editor’s Picks’. So, regardless of link authority, it just goes to show that if you choose the kind of words people will actually type into a search engine, then you’ll get higher in those SERPs. Plus, you could even beat MTV!

Can’t believe Keisha has actually gone.

Keisha Leaves The Sugababes

Keisha Buchanan has left the Sugababes, according to a recent announcement posted on the band’s website.

The website further stated: ‘Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen. They release their album ‘Sweet 7′ on November 23rd through Island Records. Keisha Buchanan will continue to record for Island Records as a solo artist.’

The last live Sugababes performance featuring Keisha was filmed at the Movida nightclub on Tuesday, September 16th as part of the Xclusives event hosted by MSN Music.

Well, it’s finally here. The second ‘Xclusives’, this time featuring the Sugababes. Following the success of our previous episode with The Pussycat Dolls, we ran another night down at London’s Movida and here are the results. I’m really over the moon – loads of planning went into this and it’s so good to see it come together. Each week we’ll be posting more videos to the site so watch this space for VV Brown, The Maccabees and Frankmusik.
